Originally a chemist in the ICI after leaving school, Alan decided he wanted to become his own boss and work on something he was truly passionate about; delivering excellent customer service and create outstanding structures that could be enjoyed in a variety of ways and occasions. Priding the AMR Log Cabins brand on excellent quality and service at affordable prices, Alan has been the driving force behind the company since its foundation.
Alan instilled these founding principals on Ryan, ultimately handing the reigns of running the business over to Ryan in 2020. Passing on one generation to another. Alan’s legacy will continue on as the business grows and evolves into the premier log cabin provider in Central Scotland & beyond!
Ryan Meldrum, M.D, Sales andOperations Manager
Having joined the business when leaving school at 18, Ryan spent the last decade driving the business forward alongside his father and managing the sales, marketing and operations for AMR Log Cabins.
Now running the business with full control, Ryan lives and breathes AMR Log Cabins & Sheds. It is in his blood and all he has known. For one so young, he has a great breadth of knowledge.
Not afraid to get his hands dirty, you’ll always find Ryan on site helping with the build too, ensuring first hand that the AMR standards are always being delivered for every customer.
